Organization Overview Position Overview Reporting directly to the Process Excellence Manager, the Analyst, Process Excellence, will perform audits on process compliance within the various operations of the Utilities business unit. Key Responsibilities

  • Observe and report deviations from standard operating procedures
  • Determine root causes for deviations and perform impact analyses
  • Develop corrective actions plans
  • Determine what processes are being followed and if purported benefits have been realized
  • Prepare necessary documentation to support the audit results
  • Present results, recommendations, and conclusions of audits at weekly team meetings
  • Prepare formal reports at the conclusion of audits, special reviews or other assignments
  • Maintain respectful and effective communications and relationships with management and staff of business units under review including assistance and follow up with process owners on issues requiring attention
  • Assist in the planning and execution of other special reviews and assignments
  • Identify improvement opportunities; develop and present recommendations to management and monitor their implementation
  • Act as a key participant in the annual process excellence review
  • Work with management to develop solutions and provide value-added services for Utilities’ dynamic operational environment
  • Required Knowledge & Skills

  • Must be able to work well within a team environment as well as individually
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to multi-task
  • Ability to adhere to project schedules and meet deadlines
  • Microsoft Office proficient with strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
  • Experience working with SAP is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and the confidence and ability to work with all levels of staff and management within a large organization
  • Familiarity with process auditing programs
  • Experience in the utilities industry an asset
  • Methodical and thorough approach to diagnosing problems
