Position Overview

As a member of the Customer Value Team, the Technical Consultant advises self-hosted customers on the Intelex system architecture.

This includes data integration configuration, infrastructure sizing, and technical consulting on system install and upkeep.

Responsibilities and Deliverables

  • Advise on system architecture and technical integrations of the Intelex solution
  • Facilitate discussions with customers and support internal resources with Interface / Integration design, and implementation
  • Provide technical consultation on the Intelex API
  • Work with customers to integrate with customer web service calls
  • Work with customers to setup Single Sign On with active directory authentication
  • Facilitate infrastructure (hardware and middleware) sizing discussions for enterprise deployments and work with Intelex R&D and SaaS Technology Operations to keep current on deployment options available
  • Support the installation of the Intelex product on customer hosted environments
  • Train customers on the technical aspects of the software solution and associated environment
  • Support customers with performance tuning of enterprise hosted systems, including SQL Database Server
  • Develop assets and tools to support common activities and requests
  • Contribute to the advancement of Intelex’s technology, products and methodology through frequent communication with Intelex R&D and SaaS Technology Operations
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Expected travel is 10% - 30%

  • Technical Competencies

  • Experience with SQL Administration, and Web Administration
  • Experience with IIS Manager, SQL Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Business Element Manager
  • Experience with San Storage, Firewalls, Performance Tuning, SSIS, SSRS, SSO using SAML 2.0, API’s, Physical and Virtual servers, Backups, SQL Indexes and stored procedures.
  • Experience

  • 2 -5 years related work experience
  • Education

  • Post-Secondary Education in Computer Engineering or a related field
  • ITIL V3, SQL 2012 certification, and Windows 2012 certification are nice to have
  • Other Requirements
