About the Role

The Talent Acquisition Manager will own the recruitment function for Trindent’s Canada and U.S. offices.

Responsibilities

  • Source candidates for all positions in the firm through active prospecting, including LinkedIn;
  • Build a pipeline of candidates and maintain relationships through consistent follow ups and company updates;
  • Provide full life-cycle recruitment support and guidance to client groups, cultivating strong working relationships with Principals and Engagement Managers;
  • Manage Fall and Summer Campus Recruitment activities;
  • Act as the subject matter expert and internal consultant on matters regarding the recruitment process, candidate markets, and competitive intelligence;
  • Collaborate with internal partners to confirm appropriate approvals are in place, create requisitions and validate job descriptions to ensure roles are marketed to attract top talent;
  • Pre-screen and conduct face to face interviews with prospected candidates;
  • Ensure standardized processes, policies and templates are utilized;
  • Deliver cost effective recruitment strategies that ensure our ability to proactively identify and recruit top talent in a highly competitive employment market;
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market intelligence, etc, in order to source applicants both domestically and internationally;
  • Provide weekly feedback to internal partners regarding recruitment updates;
  • Develop and maintain recruitment metrics;
  • Provide appropriate, relevant and timely feedback to candidates;
  • Work to staff our projects with tight deadlines and high pressure;
  • Suggest and implement changes to our recruitment process so as to improve hiring metrics and employee retention;
  • Supervise a Recruitment Associate.
  • Experience / Skills Required

  • A University Degree with a concentration in Human Resources is preferred;
  • CHRL is preferred;
  • 5-8 years of recruitment experience, with a deep understanding of full life-cycle recruitment;
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite;
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal;
  • Experience working in a professional services or consulting firm would be considered a strong asset;
  • Strong practical experience with an Applicant Tracking System in an environment where a high degree of data integrity was the standard;
  • Demonstrated achievement in sourcing hard-to-find resources;
  • Well established relationship management skills;
  • Solid administrative and organizational skills;
  • Business savvy with strong negotiation and selling skills;
  • Ability to handle multiple projects / assignments with changing priorities;
  • Must have a goal-oriented spirit and able to work in an unstructured / entrepreneurial environment;
  • Have the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
