VKI Technologies, a division of Keurig Canada Inc., designs, manufactures, distributes, and sells a range of state-of-the-

art coffee machines for a variety of settings, from small offices to public locations and large building complexes. VKI products are known for their interactive interfaces, easy maintenance, and use of whole coffee beans.


Reporting to the Procurement Supervisor and in cooperation with the Operations team, the Senior Buyer handles direct and indirect purchases.

The position is critical to ensuring that products are manufactured on time and the quality criteria issued by Engineering are met.

The Senior Buyer uses his or her expertise to purchase parts at the lowest cost.Responsibilities include :

  • Process indirect goods and service purchase requisitions and enter transactions into the company’s ERP system
  • Manage all supporting documents for indirect goods and service purchases
  • Create and update the article database in the ERP system, including prices and suppliers
  • Find new suppliers as needed
  • Negotiate contracts with current suppliers
  • Ensure suppliers meet their delivery dates
  • Coordinate supplier relations
  • Evaluate and measure supplier performance
  • Coordinate and ensure rapid resolutions to problems (deliveries, quality, etc.)
  • Provide support for the company’s new projects
  • Suggest and implement continuous improvement methodologies for internal processes, with the goal of increasing efficiency
  • Identify cost reduction opportunities for parts
  • Control inventories
  • Carry out any other assigned tasks
  • Qualifications (including assets)

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in a procurement position
  • College diploma (DEC) in procurement / logistics or any other relevant field
  • Advanced knowledge of ERP systems and the Office suite
  • Ability to communicate in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Mechanical and electrical knowledge and ability to read technical plans
  • Relevant experience in an OEM manufacturing environment
