TRU invites applications for a Power Engineering Instructor to work in the Mechanical / Welding Trades Department. The successful candidate will instruct 4th & 3rd Class Power Engineering Program classes to the Provincial curriculum and supervise students in the lab / shop.
The successful candidate will be required to develop curriculum and training materials for the classroom and lab / shop.
Preference will be given to the candidate that can best demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching, and who possesses strong communication, interpersonal and collegial skills.
The position requires a strong commitment to the trade and to departmental initiatives.
This position is offered subject to final approval of 18 / 19 Budget.
