Position Title : Snap-On Sales Assistant (Part time with potential for full time.)
Location : Brampton, Ontario
Reporting : Position reports to Franchise owner.
Position Summary : Provide support to the owner of an existing Snap-on Tool franchise in the areas of conducting current business, expansion of sales volume and client sales base.
This is growth-focused opportunity geared toward Manager purchasing a route sales Franchise.
Fully develop the assigned route to reach its maximum sales and customer service potential.
Increase service levels and sales all while increasing market share.

Maintain current clients and maintain positive customer relations.
Expand client base and sales volume in territory.
Material Flow / Inventory control.
Control of Account Receivables and Payables.
Responsibilities : Provide hands-on product demonstrations to answer questions, provide solutions, and ensure confidence in the technician’s purchase.
Work in tandem with the Snap-on company store manager to pre-qualify customers, complete tool storage and diagnostic surveys and provide solutions that are specific to each individual.
Maintain accounts receivable for both Franchisee and Snap-on Credit.
Attend monthly meetings and seminars throughout the year.
Manager will run business on a day to day basis including route sales, daily / weekly closeout, check-in and restock, marketing plan and implementation monthly / weekly / daily and per customer.
Key Tasks :
Assist in service of customers on designated route.
Provide service on products sold by the company.
Assist in management of store operation to meet sales, margin and profit targets.
Assist in maintaining accountability for sales and collections.
Assist in maintaining accountability for assets in the form of cash, inventory, van and accounts receivable.
Work with store manager to increase revenue by leveraging supplemental product offerings, improving consumable product sales and executing special project sales of new product and equipment items.
Self starter, highly motivated, high energy.
Strong communication skills, customer focused.
Proven direct sales or sales management experience, preferably in route or outside sales. Retail experience a plus.
Knowledge of Snap On Tools and / or mechanical aptitude is an asset
Valid driver’s license, with ability to drive 16-20’ vehiclem, clean driving abstract.
Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently (below shoulder height), and more than 50 pounds occasionally (using available lifting device).
Comfortable with varying hours. Occasional work on weekend, if necessary.
