Aero Mag 2010 YVR is leading the way with state-of-the-art technology for aircraft de-icing and we are looking to fill open deicing technician positions.
We are a private company located at the Vancouver International Airport.
Rôle et responsabilités / Role and responsibilities
De-icing / anti-icing of various types of aircraft,
Performing daily and pre-trip inspections of de-icing vehicles,
Testing of de-icing / anti-icing fluids,
Replenishing de-icing vehicle with fluids (glycols, water and fuel),
Communicating with operational supervisors and leads,
Completing documentation and data entry (fluid testing, vehicle conditions, de-icing operations data),
Conducting basic maintenance of equipment and custodial duties of facilities.
Exigences / Requirements
Work in inclement weather,
Work at heights,
Successfully complete initial training and assessments,
Successfully complete re-assessments every 90 days, and
Work with minimal supervision and / or within a team in a high-stress environment.
Able to legally work in Canada,
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license,
Able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC), and
Able to obtain and maintain an Airside Vehicle Operator’s Permit (AVOP).
