We are currently looking for an Operations & Risk Analyst to join our team in Mississauga, ON.

This role will be responsible for providing analytical support to the management team, including risk management and analysis.

They will conduct, prepare and report on analysis on periodic and ad hoc basis. They will be responsible for presentation decks from start to finish and to support strategic decisions.

Job functions Include but are not limited to :

  • Risk Analysis : Develop portfolio performance report and analyze trend. Also, analyze and review results of auto decisions, Retail and Commercial manual approvals and provide strategic recommendation on approval criteria on- going basis.
  • Operations Statistics : Develop and analyze detailed department performance reports such as approval ratios, turnaround time, booking quality, collection performance, etc.
  • to monitor each department’s performance on a daily basis and identify opportunities.

  • Reporting and Presentations : Prepare and provide monthly reports on various business units including external audiences as well as various marketing presentation builds.
  • Ad Hoc Data Mining and Reporting : Create and analyze on demand or ad hoc reports as requested by various departments and management.
  • Support audit and compliance activities, if requested.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • University or College degree required (preferably in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Applied Mathematics)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in financial analytics with preferred experience in an automotive finance environment.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & MS Access including SQL proficiency with Oracle EPM (data mining environment) is required.
  • Financial Mathematical skills also required.

  • PowerPoint presentation skills as well as project / time management skills a must. Experience with Tableau report creation would be an asset.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of interpersonal skills such as motivation, persuasion, and presentation skills are required.
  • Complexity and Problem Solving an asset.
