  • As a member of our Infrastructure group, you will provide insight and innovative construction solutions to ensure the successful execution of various infrastructure projects, such as : roadways, highways and interchanges;
  • bridges and overpasses; water and wastewater treatment facilities; transmission lines; general / public transportation including airports, seaports and light rail transit lines (LRTs);
  • and conventional and alternative power generation like wind farms and district energy facilities. You will also further hone your skills operating under various delivery methods including Design-

    Build, P3 (Public-Private Partnership), Construction Management and IPD (Integrated Project Delivery).

    The Planning Director, Water, Roads and LRT will have an in-depth knowledge of schedule development, establishing a schedule baseline, progressing and variance analysis of the project schedule.

  • Provide guidance and direction to the Planning and Scheduling department to meet operational demands and ensure a timely and efficient support service
  • Ensure the continued improvement of Planning and Scheduling activities and to assist operations in their execution
  • Ensure proper reports and summaries are developed to communicate KPI’s and assist Operations Management in their interpretation
  • Mentor and coach members of the planning and scheduling department by setting a positive tone for communication and collaboration within the department and with other departments
  • Provide oversight to ensure business processes for work management, planning and scheduling are implemented corporately and being followed consistently across our operations
  • Develop for large / complex projects or business units the plan, program and planning report in accordance with corporate planning procedures
  • In conjunction with the project teams, develop the preconstruction and construction methodology to enable the most efficient and effective delivery of the projects
  • Provide experienced based solutions for delivering the projects and consideration by the team
  • At agreed regular intervals, report project and portfolio progress against the contract and delivery programs
  • Act as the project conscience and the project directors right hand man advising on critical issues and strategy as appropriate
  • Use experience, lessons learned and data analysis to pre-empt potential delays and suggest innovative methods of mitigating delays incurred and advise team accordingly
  • Produce a weekly project dashboard to provide weekly updates on progress and key issues
  • Assist in chairing the weekly planning meeting to coordinate project programs, progress update, delay records and key forthcoming milestones
  • To be successful at Graham, you will have the following qualifications and experience :

  • 10 15 years planning and scheduling experience with the construction industry
  • At least 6 years’ experience working directly in the Infrastructure sector
  • Must be able to analyze effect of schedule performance index on project completion
  • Well- developed Planning / Scheduling skills
  • Experience supervising, and mentoring Intermediate / Junior Planners and Schedulers
