The continued growth and evolution of the organization have led to a significant investment in its technology infrastructure under the leadership of a new Senior Vice President, Technology & Innovation.
As part of this transformation mandate, the Vice President, Technology Operations ( VP ) will be tasked with driving the development and execution of a long-term vision and strategy for technology infrastructure, business applications, service desk, and vendor management.
The VP will lead a large team of 60-70 individuals to repurpose BCI’s applications for a cloud infrastructure and SaaS. Key priorities include the continued implementation of DevOps and agile tooling and practices for application delivery as well as the creation of a highly effective 24 / 7 service operation.
The ideal candidate will be a highly successful technology leader with experience in a complex and dynamic organization that has gone through a significant transformation with major investment in technology programs.
Exposure to investment management, asset management, financial services or high-availability systems / environment is highly desirable.
The candidate must possess solid background in technology operations, including infrastructure, applications, service desk, and vendor and contract management.
An effective change leader, the candidate must demonstrate the ability to inspire and develop a proactive, responsive, business-focused technology team that can effectively collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders.
The ability to execute on large, complex transformational projects while still running technology operations will be critical.
