This role performs critical Planning and Performance Management (PPM) activities to support the Atlantic Commercial team.
Responsibilities are focused on managing financial performance (P&L) and commercial performance (volume, distribution).
In this role you will own a P&L from top (revenue) to bottom (EBITDA) and will perform Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities to support the business unit.
Commercial performance (volume, distribution) are primary levers affecting the financial results and you will also be responsible for setting Sales targets & monitoring performance on key metrics (distribution, velocity, volume).
You will assist with both long-term and short-term planning for the business, including : long term business planning and annual operating budgets, and monthly forecasting.
Identify insights, create opportunities, and deliver solutions that drive profitable growth
Perform ROI analysis on sales initiatives & capital projects.
Run ad hoc reports to support Sales Performance Review preparation and implementation.
Update templates and communication tools (including Weekly Trackers, Brand Dashboards, and Meeting Decks) to provide routine visibility of sales performance.
Financial and Share performance.
Price, Volume, Mix performance.
Gap analysis across brands, channels, and territories.
Bachelor's degree (emphasis in business / marketing / finance / engineering or related field).
General business acumen and understanding of performance levers affecting financial statements.
Financial designation (CMA, CPA etc.) is an asset, but not required
Self-starter with eagerness to learn new topics and develop expertise.
Very strong Excel & PowerPoint skills.
2-3 years relevant experience in the beverage or consumer packaged goods industry preferred.
Strong communication, follow-up, organizational, and presentation skills.
Familiarity with syndicated data, software, and measures (IRI, Nielsen, demographic data, etc.).
