Data Leak Prevention Analyst position.

Key responsibilities

The DLP Security Analyst will be primarily responsible for the maintenance and daily DLP monitoring of the enterprise Data Leak Prevention (DLP) solution.

The main duties of the person in this role will include proper care and administration of the Data Leak Prevention (DLP) environments, DLP monitoring and responding to the alerts that generate from the tools.

This person will interface closely with Service Managers, Specialists, Architects and Security incident management team members.

Skills ans attributes for Success

  • Work with vendors to support the DLP technology (troubleshooting, upgrades, etc.)
  • Administration of the DLP tools which includes configuring policies and configurations, planning upgrades and patches, etc.
  • Monitor alerts generated from the DLP systems and other technologies
  • Understand and follow the incident response process through event escalations
  • Respond to escalations by the Incident Response Team
  • Follow processes to maintain the DLP systems rules and configuration
  • To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 6 years of experience in the field of Information Security.
  • 4 years of experience in one or more of the following :
  • o Data Leak Prevention (DLP) process support and Event Handling

    o Information Security concepts related to Governance, Risk & Compliance

    o Supporting Information Security Technology

  • English & French language skills - written and verbal communication
  • Ideally, you'll also have

  • Experience in administration of a DLP tool which includes configuring policies
  • Ability to independently research and solve technical issues
  • Proven effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment
  • Ability to work within IT operation teams who maintains the infrastructure
