You have many years of first-hand experience on large highway / civil infrastructure projects. You have a strong quality management background in civil infrastructure.
You’re comfortable working within a diverse team and equally comfortable making decisions. You conduct yourself in a business-
like and professional manner at all times, particularly when representing the Owner / Client.
Binnie is looking for a Construction Quality Manager to join our Construction Services team which provides civil engineering construction services to Owners including the Ministry of Transportation, major municipalities and other authorities in British Columbia.
As the Construction Quality Manager for the Owners’ Engineering Team (OET), you will work on Design Build Projects in and around the Lower Mainland.
The projects will include highways, interchanges, utilities, structures and municipal infrastructure.
You will be the lead quality auditor during the construction phase and report to the client owner representative on all quality matters.
You will lead a team of two entry-level / intermediate auditors ensuring construction meets the contract specifications and standards.
You will be available on site throughout the multi-year construction phase and will liaise with the contractor’s Quality Manager.
You will work to develop solutions to quality problems when they arise during construction.
