Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the primary responsibility of the Maintenance Clerk is to provide clerical services to support all areas of the Maintenance Department.
The Maintenance Clerk will be working at the mine site.
Compile and produce safety statistics and reports as directed
Assist with procedure development and version control
Monitor employee task training requirements and ensure compliance
Perform employee time entry from work order data for cost allocation
Review and communicate Action Item status to area Coordinators
Review and communicate JHSEC actions to area Coordinators
Validate and input the daily KPI figures into the appropriate database
Produce statistics and reports on the data as per standard formats
Enter data and produce reports weekly relating to department performance
Enter asset attribute data into SAP
Assist teams with Bill of Material development
Enter asset operational data to ensure accuracy of the preventative maintenance (PM) scheduling system
Generate weekly backlog reports for all areas
High school diploma or GED
Post-secondary certificate or diploma in administrative studies or business preferred
Minimum of 4-5 years of administration experience, preferably in an industrial workplace.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, SAP, with accurate keyboarding and self-auditing skills.
Knowledge of Maintenance & Reliability terminology and processes.
Knowledge of warehouse functions and parts familiarity.
Ability to work with and understand budgeting.
Effective communication skills (written, oral, listening)
The schedule for this position will consist of 4 days on and 3 days off, 10 hours per day while working at the Mine Site.
