Intek is currently hiring a Security Systems Manager for our Western Canada Division, serving British Columbia and Alberta.
The position starts immediately and is a salary position.
The successful applicant must have good command of the English language, written, verbal and spoken as well as previous management experience.
Applicants must have a valid Driver's License, auto insurance, a clean driver abstract, and must provide their own steel toed safety boots.
A Gas Technician (G.2) license and HVAC experience would be an asset, but not necessary.
Intek Security Systems Technicians are responsible for the installation and service of both business and home alarm systems, including the installation of cameras, motion detectors, motion and heat sensors, and control panels.
They will also inspect test and repair cables and associated equipment. Repair or replace faulty cables, power supplies, sensors, etc.
They will commission systems and survey building when preparing for installation. Conversing with customers to ensure customers understand and approve of the work to be done.

The Security Systems Manager will be managing the Security Systems Technicians. They will assist on difficult orders, as well as complete thermostat work and necessary paperwork.
The Security Systems Manager will instill Health and Safety objectives and initiatives and will ensure the customer service provided is second to none.
Other : This position requires that the employee be physically capable of lifting / carrying / climbing a 28 ft extension ladder.
Some weekend & evening work required. Outside work is required in all seasons.
Successful hires will be provided with a company issued vehicle, Gas Card, laptop and trade tools.
