We are seeking an experienced Human Resources / Professional Development Manager for our Saskatchewan District offices located in Regina and Saskatoon.
This is a single position that will support both offices with home location being either office.
Leads development, execution, evaluation, and monitoring of district HRPD strategy and key performance indicators (KPIs) in alignment with district and company strategic plans and priorities.
Responsible for overall accountability, execution and integrity of recruitment and onboarding programs.
Leads the communication and change management plan associated with implementation of HR programs, olicies, and practices and evaluates the effectiveness of them.
Accountable for ensuring district practices comply with corporate policy and applicable legislation.
Provides guidance and coaching to HR staff and district management of HRPD programs, policies, and legislation.
Identifies and manages risk and opportunities within HRPD processes, projects, or programs.
Develops, manages, and approves district HRPD budget to align with district strategy and priorities.
Oversees student program strategy and enhances, grows and influences the program to align with district strategies. Maintains strategic relationships with academic institutions.
Partners with Operations and department managers to develop short-and long-term staff plans.
Responsible for overall compensation plan.
Oversees, executes, and influences the career management program to ensure retention, development, and engagement of district talent.
Provides advice and support to district leadership on promotions, leadership programs, and award nominees.
Leads the facilitation of succession-planning sessions at district level.
Guides and coaches supervisors through progressive discipline process for all positions.
Provides coaching to managers / supervisors on terminations and conducts exit interviews for voluntary terminations.
Leads complex investigations, including risk assessment, communication / implementation of recommended outcomes / decisions.
Accountable for data integrity, including compliance analysis. Identifies trends and recommendations for improvement on HRPD district plans and strategies.
Delivers district level training programs and complex facilitation sessions.
Leads implementation, evaluation, and measurement of corporate and regional initiatives.
Supervises, directs, coaches, trains, and mentors HRPD team, including direct and indirect reports.
Develops and maintains an effective network of other HR professionals and participates in associations as appropriate.
Values, models, and coaches the solution provider and profitability culture.
Develop and maintains strong customer-focused relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers.
Other duties as required.
Postsecondarydiploma or degree in human resources or a related discipline preferred.
Completionof HR designation preferred.
8+ years ofprogressive human resources experience preferred.
1-3 yearsof supervisory experience of HR professionals preferred.
Seen as atrusted advisor with superior relationship management skills and the ability toestablish and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and decisionmakers.
Ability totactfully and diplomatically deal with people and act with discretion when handlingconfidential information.
Able toapply advanced HR knowledge to define HRPD best practices and procedures.
Strongbusiness acumen, with an understanding of industry practices and new developments.
Able to useinformation and data to interpret, analyze, and recommend strategic solutions.
Able towork independently or in a team environment in a highly matrixed organization.
Able toeffectively manage a team comprising of entry to mid-level seasoned human resourcesprofessionals.
Strongverbal and written communication skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence,and present ideas and content that contribute to the district strategy.

Advancedapplication of relevant employment legislation.
Advancedexperience in training, facilitation, and in managing complex facilitated sessions.
