A service-driven paper and packaging products company, Atlantic Packaging has grown to become one of Canada’s largest paper manufacturers and a leading producer of packaging products.
Our organization employs approximately 1000 people at eight manufacturing plants and four distribution centers.
Provide substitutions or replacements where necessary in any dept.
Pack products on pallets to avoid any damage;
Label and pack pallets according to customer requirements;
Loading product onto truck according to delivery schedule ensuring pallets are loaded in secure manner with driver safety in mind at all times.
Make arrangements with carrier for any shipments required to ship using outside carrier;
Make appointments with customers as required.
Report any product return to Customer Service;
Perform weekly cycle counts. Minimum 1x per week;
Review packing slips on all supplier orders ensuring accuracy.Report damaged product or shortages to Customer Service immediately.
Sign all packing slips detailing damages and / or shortages;
Ensure product is put away in warehouse once received from supplier piled in a safe manner, and scanned to appropriate bins
Perform product audits if / when necessary;
Perform other duties as required. Example : making sure cleaning schedule is done and paperwork filled out.
Receive customer products report any damages-fill out appropriate paperwork and distribute said paperwork.
Ensure that work area is clean;
Complete all mandatory safety training;
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE ) when required;
Ensure that PPE is always in good shape;
Operate equipment in a safe manner filling out check list for fork trucks and reporting any deviations / repairs required.
Report all incidents and / or accidents to the Supervisor on duty immediately
