The Program Specialist is responsible for ensuring that client programs are administered smoothly, and providing support to corporate clients and internal Operations Managers and Directors.

This role involves direct client contact.

Responsibilities :

  • Maintaining client program details in proprietary applications including claim management details, billing processes, reporting requirements and other details necessary for all aspects of operation
  • Completing monthly billing reports according to strict timelines
  • Investigating invoice discrepancies and working with Finance to process reconciliations
  • Creating and sending client reports and presentations on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Creating ad hoc reports for clients or internal customers, often requiring manual manipulation and extraction of data
  • Assisting clients and internal teams with questions regarding their portal
  • Responding to client inquiries via phone and email, and supporting their needs in a timely manner
  • Providing support to Operation Managers and Directors, including but not limited to looking up contract information, obtaining claim reports, booking meeting rooms and catering
  • Employing problem solving and critical thinking to proactively determine solutions and suggest alternatives
  • Working with the team to ensure that all responsibilities are completed and client requests have been responded to
  • Communicating with different departments within Morneau Shepell via phone and email
  • Assisting other Client Services teams as required
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications :

  • 2 years’ experience in a customer service position working with corporate clients
  • Completed post-secondary education
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong ability to multitask
  • High level ability to work with details and ensure accuracy
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work on a team and be able to help others at a moment’s notice
  • Excellent MS office skills
  • Bilingualism (written and verbal) in French and English is required
  • Job Grade : MS2
