As the SAP Sales Leader for Canada within Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will have the exciting opportunity to deliver on our strategy to build mind share and adoption of Amazon’s infrastructure solutions across AWS’s most strategic North America customers.

Your responsibilities will include fostering relationships with AWS’s field organization, our customers and partners, including SAP while contributing with the SAP goals for NA.

By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving top line revenue growth and overall end customer adoption across AWS Enterprise Market Segment.

The ideal candidate will possess both a business background that enables them engage at the CXO level, deep experience with SAP and SAP specific infrastructure solutions that will help drive the SAP on AWS ecosystem, as well as a sales background that enables them to easily interact with enterprise customers and sales / field reps.

He / she should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

Work close with the AWS North America Field team and in particular with the Canada team as the SAP SME for all related customer engagements in the Enterprise and Named segment.

  • Set a strategic plan for target markets and ensure it's in line with the AWS strategic direction and growth targets.
  • Define with the SAP Field teams the specific SAP plan for key enterprise accounts.
  • Work with existing AWS, SAP and partner field organizations to define and execute joint sales, go to market programs and identify their SAP journey to AWS and engage specific teams for the execution (SA, ProServ, Global Team, others)
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of all SAP opportunities and provide updates of the key customer engagements on a timely manner.
  • Identify market dynamics and propose actions to respond and support customers.
  • Understand and exploit the use of salesforce.com and other internal Amazon systems.
  • Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team.

  • The right person will possess 10+ years of sales, business development and program management experience.
  • Consistently exceeds quota and key performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences.
  • Experience selling with SAP and / or enterprise software development industry.
  • Experience working with SAP partners / ecosystem is a plus.
  • 50%+ of travel required.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
  • MBA preferred
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.
  • Experience working with cloud computing technologies / companies.
