Position Summary :

Fujifilm Photofinishing Products including photobooks, calendars, and home décor items using your personal images are growing at a very fast pace as consumers are realizing the wide variety of gifts they can create.

Fujifilm Canada provides professional printing services to many large retailers across Canada in our lab facility on site.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this individual will work closely with the Marketing, Sales, and Logistics teams to develop forecasts, manage inventory, bill of materials (BOMs), and financial plans on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.

This role will be responsible for maintaining the product line up and establishing key new product introduction to the CAD market.

Furthermore, this role incorporates a combination of financial, strategic, and pricing analysis along with creative thinking to support internal stakeholders to ensure that corporate business objectives and financial results are met.

Additional Responsibilities Include :

  • Forecast product requirements and data accurately to capture customer promotions, seasonal demands, and past trends to ensure minimum inventory is available as required to avoid back orders;
  • Analyze market and customer trends to develop forecasts for new products and customer demand.
  • Responsible for inventory management, including full understanding of BOMs and its components.

  • Work with multiple suppliers to order various components to create a final saleable product, as well as source new components and negotiate costs.
  • Research potential new products to bring to market based on market demand and competitive actions. Lead process with internal departments including IT, Quality Assurance, and Production Planning to ensure successful launch.
  • Develop, maintain and advise on pricing for our retail customers and photofinishing dealers taking into account costing, overhead, freight costs and competitive landscape.
  • Contribute to the financial and analytical modeling to drive quantitative insights to support business decisions and / or opportunities assessment, i.
  • e. business unit cost-benefit analysis.

  • Analyze the effectiveness of promotions through lifts in volume and implications on sales of upcoming promotions, competitive actions.
  • Track and report on factors that affect monthly financial reports for senior management and executive team, highlighting most relevant and important findings.
  • Contribute to the analysis of any strategic issue presented.
  • Skills / Education :

  • Post- secondary degree in Business, with a specialty in finance.
  • Minimum 3-4 years business marketing experience with profit analytics, preferably in the packaged goods or retail industry.
  • Previous experience with enterprise systems, previous experience working with SAP a strong asset.
  • Proven success in clear and straight forward communication of complex analysis and concepts.
  • Strong presentation skills, including proven success in delivering effective presentations to a variety of audiences including customers and senior management.
  • Previous experience working in an environment where collaboration and relationship building across multiple functions was required.
  • Highly motivated self-starter, willing to take the initiative to manage time and projects with minimal direct management in a fast paced environment.
