The MSL will develop and maintain long term, peer-to-peer relationships with critical stakeholders including thought leaders and other health care professionals (HCPs) specializing in oncology treatment and supportive care.
MSLs will interact with HCPs in both academic medical centers and community oncology practices and will provide high-level scientific expertise and education on the biosimilar approval pathway, the development of biosimilars, the latest data revolving biosimilars and competitive intelligence.
Additionally, the MSL will foster local and / or national research and educational opportunities and extend the Medical Affairs resources as appropriate.
Establish Apobiologix as the leading company committed to the advancement of biosimilars as a new treatment option.
Engage in scientific exchange with key decision makers by providing fair balanced, credible, and comprehensive clinical and health economics information to support biosimilar education, awareness, adoption, and payor reimbursement and coverage.
Provide high-level scientific expertise and education on the topic of similarity and / or interchangeability between biosimilars and reference products and the appropriate use of biosimilars for optimal patient care outcomes.
Facilitate investigator sponsored studies (ISS) as opportunities arise.
Build, develop & maintain professional relationships with regional and national thought leaders and demonstrate value as a clinical and scientific resource.
Complete timely documentation of interactions and contacts within appropriate databases.
Identify opportunities to partner with HCPs on disease state initiatives of interest to, and in alignment with, the strategic objectives of Apobiologix.
Engage in speaker identification, training and evaluation and provide support for advisory board meetings as requested.
Provide timely, accurate, specific and balanced responses to professional requests for information (PIR) regarding biosimilars.
As requested, and in collaboration with Medical Affairs Director, assist in the creation of educational and presentation materials in support of customer needs.
Attend national and regional scientific congresses and provide scientific booth support as needed.
Adhere to and manage travel and local expenses to meet ApoBiologix policy
Engage in cross-functional collaboration between Medical Affairs, Regulatory affairs, Quality, Business development and Commercial teams.
Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

Fluent in French and English
Advanced clinical or science degree is required for this role
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Medical Science Liaison (MSL). Oncology MSL experience is highly preferred, including experience with advisory boards and speakers’ bureaus.
Established relationships with oncology thought leaders in the geographical area to be covered required.
Ability to travel up to 70% (approx.10-12 overnights per month).
Understanding of concepts and application of health economics and outcomes research preferred.
Knowledge of payor segment clinical issues and needs preferred.
Demonstrated expertise in drug information communication; strong presentation skills.
Ability to build productive work relationships both internally and externally.
Ability to integrate and work in a cross functional network.
Demonstrated project management ability.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge and understanding of Canadian laws and Health Canada regulations and industry guidance for interactions with HCPs.
Valid driver’s license and Passport.
