Position Summary :
1-800-GOT-JUNK? Truck Team Members are motivated, entrepreneurial people who are learning how to run a business. As a Truck Team Member, you will be working toward exceptional success and have a lot of fun doing it.
You will begin your day by picking up one of our trucks at a location close to you and drive down to our office for a morning team meeting (cereal breakfast is always included!).
After our team meeting, you and your assigned partner will be given a list of client appointments to be serviced for the day.
At each appointment you will provide exceptional customer service, an on the spot service quote, and physically lift objects out of our clients site, into our trucks.
Time management, Customer service, Patience, Negotiation and a Positive Attitude will play a big role in your day to day responsibilities.
This includes maintaining a safe distance between customers and co-workers. Remote starts have been implemented, eliminating our daily office meetings to ensure the health and safety of all of our 1-800-GOT-JUNK staff during the COVID19 pandemic.
Key Responsibilities :
Foster a positive work environment through leadership and example.
Work directly with Operations team to ensure quality of service, resolving customer issues, as well as working with Manager of Operations to minimize issues.
Ensure all work is being done to high company standards and quality; Uphold punctual assigned time and efficient completion of all assigned jobs.
Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods.
Adhere to, and hold self to strict safety policy and standards.
Proven customer service or sales experience an asset.
Strong communicator, customer relations, and interpersonal skills, self starter with an entrepreneurial attitude.
Work in conjunction with Manager of Operations on duty and be able to take direction as communicated.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
A valid G level driver's license and a clean driving record (3 demerit points or less)
