SRFax is an Internet Fax Service Provider that has been in business for over 15 years and is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Nanaimo, BC office.

This is a permanent, full-time position.

We are looking for a self-driven, customer-minded candidate with excellent communication skills, who is comfortable with technology and assisting others in using applications.

Attention to detail is a must in order to provide exceptional customer support.

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone and email inquiries about our services
  • Provide exceptional customer support over the phone, via chat, and by email
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customers' technical issues
  • Track and log all customer inquiries
  • Process financial transactions
  • After hours support role, weekly rotation
  • Education

  • High School Diploma
  • Some Post Secondary preferred
  • Required Skills

  • A minimum of 1 year of Customer Service experience is required
  • Excellent communication skills (English), both written and verbal
  • Service-oriented attitude
  • Great listening skills
  • Evaluates situations effectively and pays attention to detail
  • Effective time management and organizational skills, must be able to multi-task
  • Shows empathy under all circumstances
  • Motivated self-starter looking to grow with the company
  • Fundamental computer skills
  • Solid understanding of the use of Internet, email and email programs
  • Telecommunications experience beneficial but not required
