The primary function of the Customer ServiceAssociate (CSA) Loader is to assist customers with all of theirshopping needs.

The CSA I - Loader is responsible for providingexcellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries andhelping customers with locating, selecting, carrying, and loadingmerchandise along with responding to requests for assistancethroughout the store.

This includes supporting checkout functionsand other customer services as needed. The CSA Loader isresponsible for preparing quick-load items, replenishing shelfstock, and using power equipment as needed.

The CSA Loader is alsorequired to maintain a safe and secure work environment byconducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping storeareas clean and organized, and monitoring for potential theft orsecurity risks.

Lastly, the CSA Loader is responsible forcompleting all other duties as assigned. Requires morning,afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week.

Requiredto work a schedule as determined by sales, customer, and businessneeds, but may be changed by store management based on the needs ofthe store.

  • Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day requireadvanced notification and approval by supervisor. Hourly Full Time,Part Time or Seasonal : Generally scheduled 40, 24 to 30, or 0 to 40hours per week respectively;
  • more hours may be required based onthe needs of the store. This position reports to an Assistant StoreManager and takes daily direction from a Department Manager.

    Thisposition does not have direct reports.

    JobRequirements

    Minimum Qualifications

    6months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing,modifying, or outputtinginformation.

    6 monthsexperience using a handheld device (e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun,palm pilot, tablet, iPod) to enter, access, and outputinformation.

    Preferred Qualifications

    6 monthsretail experience

    6 months experience as a Loader at otherhome improvement or hardware retailers. 6 months experience workingin any department at a Lowe's retail store.

    6 monthsretail merchandising experience, including performing ZoneRecovery, stocking, downstocking, facing / fronting product, pricing,maintaining signage, and housekeeping.

    6 months experiencein any industry inspecting, carrying, loading, and unloadingproduct or material in or out of vehicles.

    Lifts 26-50pounds without assistance many times a day and also lifts 51-75pounds without assistance daily and 76-100 pounds with assistancedaily.

    The Customer Service Associate - Loader may berequired to perform job activities, with appropriate intermittentrelief where applicable, under difficult work conditions such as inextreme cold, heat, inclement weather, at heights, while exposed toconstant / intermittent sounds (if applicable).
