About the Role
RPMGlobal is seeking a Field Marketing and Events Specialist to assist the Americas region, which includes both North and Latin America, and wider global marketing team deliver high quality regional sales marketing and event outcomes to both internal and external customers.
This role is responsible for the efficient running of marketing administration in a geographically dispersed team with duties across communications, event coordination, sales administration and digital marketing in a B2B environment.
We are seeking an experienced Field Marketing and Events Specialist with experience in B2B software industry to hit the ground running to provide marketing and event support to our North and Latin American regions.
This role will require you to translate the regional sales strategy to effective marketing campaigns and events and deliver on those activities.
You will be self-motivated to work autonomously and comfortable working with a geographically dispersed team from a variety of backgrounds to achieve marketing outcomes.
With a broad range of software products and services, you will gain exposure to all facets of our business, providing the opportunity to learn and be involved with plenty of exciting projects.
This is a permanent, full-time role based out of RPM’s Canada operations.
Coordinate client engagement activities including both internal and external events.
Maintain marketing spreadsheets, databases and inventories.
Prepare and present regional marketing plans and recommendations for the field team.
Deliver outcomes against the regional marketing plan.
Translate the regional sales strategy into marketing activities and tangible outcomes.
Develop, design, produce and present marketing materials for the Latin or North American regions.
Work with the marketing team to produce briefs for materials.
Participate in event marketing planning and coordination.
Helps maintain forums and social media accounts for brands, products or services.
Evaluate, budget, plan and execute regional events.
Assist the Sales and Marketing Teams to deliver key marketing foundation programs.
Support the implementation of marketing related change initiatives.
You will have :
Proven experience in sales and events marketing in the B2B software industry.
Tertiary qualification in Marketing or equivalent experience.
Experience managing a CRM (preferably salesforce).
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and PPT.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in the mining industry would be highly advantageous.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
High attention to detail with the ability to meet critical deadlines.
Strong planning and organisational skills.
Event organisation experience highly regarded.
Experience in Adobe suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design) highly regarded.
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
