We’re looking for a Payroll Specialist to join our People Operations team.
As a member of the People Operations team you’ll report to the Global Total Rewards Manager, while working closely with our Finance team.

As the Payroll Specialist at Ritual you will...
Responsible for full cycle processing of payroll for multiple geographies, including the US, Canada, APAC, and Europe
Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports on gross payroll, hours worked, PTO / vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.
Drive offboarding matters related to payroll and benefits
Liaise with all 3rd party payroll vendors
Ensure compliance with all applicable state, provincial, and federal wage and hour laws and maintain current knowledge for all our locations
In partnership with other members of the People Operations and Finance teams, draft templates and documents for team members in new markets
Drive special projects, as needed, as Ritual scales and opens offices and hires teams all over the world

Overall, you’re a results-oriented, high energy person, comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with normal
5-7 years of professional and relatable work experience
Experience administering global payroll
Experience with Ceridian Powerplan an asset
Strong analytical skills
Very comfortable working in Excel / Google Sheets
Ability to work cross-functionally and deal with various stakeholders
Working knowledge of benefits administration
Understanding of International, Federal, State and local regulations and policies
