As an Application Consultant (ERP) within the Client Services group, you will be primarily working on projects for Cogsdale’s existing clients.
After a client goes live with our solution, they often engage us for additional services such as assistance with system upgrades, business process reviews, additional training, custom development, custom reports, implementing new features or modules, etc.
Since the scope can vary quite a bit from project to project diverse, the Application Consultant (ERP) must have in-depth knowledge of the utility industry, best practices, and the Microsoft Dynamics GP solution.
up to 75% of the time; throughout North America and the Caribbean. What you will be doing : Lead Business Process Review workshops with clients to understand their pain points and requirements and identify opportunities for improvement in their operations.
Document recommendations based on industry best practice and software capabilities. Lead discovery sessions to identify and document client requirements for new modules or products they would like to implement.
Lead training sessions, onsite or remote; training scope could include new software features, refresher training, new product training, etc.
Lead requirements gathering, development and testing of custom reports, data fixes or data imports (Crystal, SSRS, SQL, SmartLists, PowerBI).
Assist clients with developing test plans, test execution, triaging and troubleshooting issues. Mentor and coach Consultants while working with them on various projects assignments.
Work with the Project Manager to ensure a strict adherence to our methodology and ensure that we hit our key milestones.
Identify any scope changes or possible additional work opportunities to the Project Manager Work with the Manager of Client Services on special internal projects to help increase efficiencies across our various project types and identify opportunities for additional revenue.
What we are looking for : 2+ years of experience implementing an ERP Solution (Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred) Demonstrated ability to configure and test software Demonstrated ability to interpret requirements, recommend solutions and lead / participate in business analysis sessions with customers.
Solid accounting knowledge Ability to travel up to 75% of the time throughout North America What will make you stand out : CMA, CGA, CA certifications Technical abilities : SQL knowledge, software installation, upgrade, workflow configuration, Crystal, SSRS, SQL, SmartLists, PowerBI, etc.
