Job Overview :
The Marketing Director is responsible e for all activities related to conceptualizing and implementing market strategy and achieving marketing targets.
Specific responsibilities include business and market development; market research and planning; strategic direction for promotion and advertising; coordination with sales.
General Responsibilities :
Serves as Marketing Director of S.i. Systems, providing support in the areas of marketing strategy and management.
Develops the annual marketing plan and the strategies, tactics and necessary to achieve system and goals.
Provides leadership and supports the design, development, and implementation of products and service lines.
Prepares and provides reporting on market and competitor analysis.
Provides leadership and management of the market research function.
Creates an institutional and system-wide marketing report that can track, measure and analyze performance.
Ensures all marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.
Provides input and support to S.i.’s leadership in the development of joint ventures, affiliations and acquisitions.
Coordinates marketing efforts to create identities of lines of business in conjunction with the S.i. brand.
Provides marketing skills and expertise to S.i. by building, developing and managing marketing strategies and tactics to support Operations sales force.
Prepares presentations to explain S.i.’s current and future strategies.
Tactical Responsibilities :
Create strong brand message.
Possess excellent writing skills or build a marketing team that will capture the voice of S.i. and deliver messaging on command.
Develop innovative campaigns to address clients, consultants, candidates and potential internal hires. Implement an internal messaging strategy.
An understanding of all aspects of digital and print material production, working with the press and other related media outlets relevant to S.i.’s audience.
Social and Digital Media :
Work with outside vendors to create the premiere web presence that can be reached across all platforms.
Understand all mediums of social and digital media communication and create conversation paths with stakeholders at the global, office and individual level.
Create visibility to S.i.’s on-line presence and work to make it transparently positive through all relevant mediums.
Create strategies to connect in unique and disruptive ways.
Must thrive in an entrepreneurial environment.
Ability to influence without authority and roll up sleeves and get granular when required.
Ability to communicate effectively to a wide mix of audiences including business leaders, external clients, executive colleagues, media and line employees.
Specific Experience :
Must have held senior marketing position at a high growth, high revenue company.
Must have proven track record of success and performance in all areas of marketing, as will be the architect and implementer of this function at S.i.
Must have relevant professional B2B services experience.
Must be able to articulate where all job requirements have been led or performed in previous roles.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and desktop publishing programs, Adobe Creative Suite programs, and an understanding of social media platforms.
