Responsibilities

include any of the following areas of focus dependent upon the candidate’s strengths and interests :

  • Hardware DevelopmentDevelop Evaluation Platforms using cutting edge bill of material, design tools and manufacturing design rulesManage Contractor’s through the definition, design and verification of hardware designsPerform PCB lay-out and system level signal integrity analysis and optimization using platforms such as Cadence Allegro / OrCAD, and high speed modeling tools such as HFSS
  • Internal Test and MeasurementLab test and measurement, debugging, optimizing hardware using sophisticated lab equipment such as VNAs and high speed scopes and probe stationsAssist in the generation of application notes, and other product support documentation.
  • Preferred Experience and Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s program in Engineering or Physics or another discipline relevant to this position.
  • Additional degrees / certifications related to high speed electrical modeling would be a definite advantage
  • Working experience in the semiconductor Industry
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with little supervision
  • Organized and highly adaptable enjoy working in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and ability to communicate and work well with other team members.
  • High degree of creativity, determination and innovation
  • Analog and digital circuit understanding
  • Cadence APD and Allegro advanced knowledge
  • Additional Skills :

  • Familiar with a variety of PCBA technologies, including Chip On Board, wirebond, flip chip, optical-electronic devices and high-speed connectors.
  • Knowledge of microcontrollers and FPGA design
  • Experience with troubleshooting PCBs and systems
  • Experience using scopes, and other lab equipment.
