Job Summary

The Accounting Clerk-Patient Representative follows the patient account, from admission through to collection of payment.

Qualifications

  • Secondary education
  • Computerized accounting and Accounts Receivable experience, within last 5 years
  • Cash handling experience, within last 5 years
  • Account reconciliation experience, within last 5 years in a hospital preferred
  • Able to deal well with a wide variety of people and situations.
  • Self-starter and work independently with strong attention to details
  • Deal with large volumes within specific time limitations.
  • Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated problem assessment skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
  • Demonstrated individual leadership skills
