WestJet Encore’s Flightpath program is designed for pilots who have acquired 250 hours and have completed the MIFR / IATRA written exam.

Following a successful interview, you will be placed in a first officer hiring pool and considered for a future ground school after meeting the first officer qualifications listed below.

WestJet Encore supports a Pilot-in-Command Under Supervision program for First Officers who hold a CPL to accrue PIC U / S flight time, and experience.
Fifty percent of flight time may be credited towards PIC / US. A First Officer may fly 200 hours in Encore aircraft to get credit for the maximum 100 hours PIC U / S that can be used towards the requirement of an ATPL as outlined in the Transport Canada Standard.
