Brandt is currently seeking a Territory Manager located in Eastern Canada. This position, focused on the North American railroad industry, (Class 1, Contractors, Short Lines and Industrial), requires a candidate with a solid technical sales background and a demonstrated capability of establishing and growing customer relationships.
Key objectives for this role are to maximize sales, market share and profitability in the designated geographic region.
Duties & Responsibilities
Establish and manage customer relationships
Responsible for the commercial interface with customers
Development and maintenance of sales action plans and customer contact schedules
Prepare and maintain customer activity reports, including closing, follow-up and prospects
Establish sales and gross margin targets with the Sales Director
Work collaboratively with the Sales Director to develop the business strategy for the territory
Prepare technical and commercial presentations to present to customers
Coordinate with Brandt Application Engineers and the Engineering, Estimating and Manufacturing teams to prepare proposals and follow-up on open quotations
Identify and resolve customer concerns with the support of the Customer Service team
Represent Brandt at industry trade shows and conventions
Required travel for this position can be up to 75% of the work schedule
Sales / business experience is required, with strong customer service skills
Previous experience in the NA railroad industry is an asset
Aggressive team player, self-starter and goal oriented
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Experience with Microsoft Office suite Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
