Duties :

  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to create test plans and procedures
  • Design, build, and setup test fixtures, and execute testing based on plans
  • Automation and programming for test and characterization
  • Generation of user manuals and user guides for test stands / fixtures
  • Conduct single component-based and HW / SW integration testing to assess performance relative to specifications and verify system requirements
  • Track defects and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
  • Identify appropriate measurement methods, tools, and processes for both system and board level tests
  • Ensure traceability from requirements and specifications to verification
  • Analyze results with data processing tools and communicate test results
  • Participate in Design Review meetings to ensure designs are testable
  • Effectively execute, monitor, and troubleshoot prototype and manufacturing builds as necessary
  • Provide feedback on design and architecture based on test results
  • Identify, request, and order testing equipment
  • Interact and coordinate deliverables and timelines with cross functional teams
  • Recommend improvements to processes, technology, and interfaces that improve the effectiveness of the team
  • Our Ideal Candidate Has :

  • BS / MS degree in EE or ME or related engineering field
  • Minimum of 0-2 years experience working with instrumentation hardware development
  • Understanding of electro-mechanical hardware design and testing
  • Test experience with power supplies, data acquisition systems, and oscilloscopes
  • Experience in defect tracking, test plans, test protocols, and test execution
  • Able to write software and hardware technical specifications
  • Test automation systems and test case management systems experience
  • Design experience create automated test systems or one-off testers
