Our Whitehorse office is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities :
In conjunction with and under the supervision of a Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for completion of all aspects of the entire engagement and the on-the-job training of other team members.
Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements and tax returns according to Firm and regulatory standards for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises.
Build effective working relationships with client contacts, and respond effectively to client requests and suggestions related to engagement.
Identify process improvements for future assignments and share their knowledge and experience with other team members
Completion of additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as required

Y our experience and education
You have completed your CPA designation.
You have 3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
You live in the Whitehorse area or are willing to relocate
You have full wokring rights in Canada
You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
