Your opportunity

Our Whitehorse office is looking for a Senior Accountant to join the Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities :

  • In conjunction with and under the supervision of a Manager, the Senior Accountant is responsible for completion of all aspects of the entire engagement and the on-the-job training of other team members.
  • Prepare and complete working papers, financial statements and tax returns according to Firm and regulatory standards for clients in a variety of businesses and non-profit enterprises.
  • Build effective working relationships with client contacts, and respond effectively to client requests and suggestions related to engagement.
  • Identify process improvements for future assignments and share their knowledge and experience with other team members
  • Completion of additional ad-hoc duties or assignments as required

  • Y our experience and education

  • You have completed your CPA designation.
  • You have 3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry.
  • You live in the Whitehorse area or are willing to relocate
  • You have full wokring rights in Canada
  • You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
  • You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
