You will have extensive experience in writing both manual test cases and creating automated scripts. Our Technology team goes above and beyond to ensure our software systems are robust and highly maintainable.
This role will report to the QA Manager. This is a full-time position in our downtown Vancouver HQ, walking distance from shops, restaurants, and public transit.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities : Work with Software Engineers and Product Owners to capture requirements and provide advice on company systems strategy, policy, security and service deliveryAssess technical security risks to the sensitive data to make sure the data integrityDevelop and implement company software development life cycle with management team to maximize the overall quality of the software productsPlan, write, execute, monitor automated tests to analyze and publish results and interpretation, within scheduled deadlinesSet up test data as required to reproduce issues and execute positive, negative and edge case automation testingFollow the process for defect management, release testing and overall product quality assuranceCreate and maintain automated test process documentation, scripts and toolsCollect and provide test metrics and reportsExecute manual smoke and final acceptance testing as needed for software releasesAs needed, assist support with reproducing, diagnosing and resolving customer issuesKey / Technical Skills : Minimum 1 year of proven development experience.
This position spends around 25-50% of the time writing code in test, so strong development skills are requiredExperience with cross-browser testing, functional, stress / performance, security testing of multi-tiered web applicationsStrong experience in using industry standard tools to develop and maintain automated user acceptance test suites and tying them into the Continuous Integration processSolid experience with the following technologies : C#, .
