Opportunity with a top Client in Automotive Industry

Level 1 : 0 - 3 Years (of Supervising, Managing, Leading a team on Automotive Stamping Assembly Line w / some exp in managing machines / systems

Level 2 : 4 - 8 Years (of Supervising, Managing, Leading a team on Automotive Stamping Assembly Line w / some exp in managing machines / systems

Level 3 : 9 - 14 Years (of Supervising, Managing, Leading a team on Automotive Stamping Assembly Line w / some exp in managing machines / systems

Department : Automotive Stamping - Stamping (also known as pressing) is the process of placing flat sheet metal in either blank or coil form into a stamping press where a tool and die surface forms the metal into a net shape.

Supervising, Managing, Leading a team : Can be defined as someone who has the responsibility of managing and supervising a team of members -

responsible for hiring, firing, taking disciplinary actions, managing the performances, solving and improving the working issues involving team members, all HR aspects, training and development, etc.

Managing Machines / Systems : Can be defined as someone has displaying technical knowledge and experience in preventative measures, diagnosis and repair, and maintenance activities on machines and systems on assembly floor.

Must have Skills All Required


  • Proven experience in supervising and managing multi-trade workforce and plant machineries in Automotive, Aerospace or Manufacturing industries
  • Technical Proficiency, Knowledge, Experience in any of - Mechanical & Electrical Machines / Concepts (HVAC, PLC Programmable Logic Controllers, Pneumatics, Hydraulics, ETC.
  • Assembly / Facility Area, Diagnostic Repairs, Maintenance, Blueprints / Maintenance Drawings

  • Proven experience in HR & Administration Training & Development, Team Evaluation, Reporting, Local and National Labor agreements, Performance Assessment, Hiring and Firing, Disciplinary Actions
  • Any previous experience in Unionized Environment (e.g. UNIFOR, CAW, Teamsters, UFCW Canada , etc.) Does not have to be union member themselves (Desirable)
  • Proven experience in delivering JIT Just in Time or Lean Manufacturing or any other relative process / quality / productivity improvement process and strategy
  • Proven experience in supporting / implementing the Q S9000 / ISO14001 / (GMS) Global Manufacturing System compliance processes
  • Min Bachelor’s Degree or College Diploma Mechanical Engineering (Preferred), Electrical & Industrial Engineering
  • On top of Bachelors / Diploma, t raining in skilled trades area or equivalent technical training (Highly Desirable)
  • Flexible to work any shifts Amazing overtime Opportunities!!! (Morning / Afternoon / Weekends / Holidays)
