What’s the job?
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Member Loyalty Marketing, the Digital Marketing (Email) Specialist is responsible for the end to end process of all campaign and journey digital targeted communication This includes strategizing, building, testing and reporting based on a set of requirements.
The Specialist provides channel performance results including analytics, metrics and reports. As the owner of the email channel, the Specialist owns email adoption and deliverability and develops programs to acquire and engage email subscribers while adhering to privacy and risk requirements.
The Specialist develops and implements content, tools, process and systems and applies continuous enhancements that optimize the use of these channels.
A highly collaborative role, the Specialist provides consulting on email and online banking messaging success strategies and tactics to all areas of the business seeking to use these channels.
What you will do every day :
Implement end to end email and online banking messaging design, development, deployment, measurement and optimization including use of testing methods such as A / B testing
Develop and provide regular email and / or online banking messaging performance reports after each initiative and for overall channel performance using information from multiple first and third party platforms including CRM and Google 360, analyzing and translating data into business and consumer insights that can be used to optimize performance.
Create and optimize segmentation and content personalization strategies by leveraging quantitative and behavioral data to drive business decisions
Optimize email marketing efforts for revenue, growth, and customer experience, while adhering to our brand. Owns our email marketing processes, SLAs, systems, and technology infrastructure to ensure we are able to scale our programs efficiently.
Work collaboratively with stakeholders on defining email and online banking messaging requirements including timing, data, targeting criteria, testing, reporting and automation.
Will often be required to source data and targeting criteria using accessible data sources such as CRM.
Writes effective copy that is in brand tone and applies proofing skills to ensure mistake-free content
Partner with the brand and content teams to develop or leverage content strategies.
Effectively manage technology vendors to ensure they are working efficiently, within deadlines and set expectations
Who are we looking for?
A minimum of 3-5 years of job-related experience. Experience in a similar high-volume role with demonstrated success
Bachelor's Degree or a diploma requiring 3 - 4 years of full-time study.
Demonstrated experience with email marketing and automation platforms with a track record in developing and executing A / B tests, analyzing and translating data into business and consumer insights
Proficient in Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud platforms
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite with proficiency in spreadsheet programs such as Excel and Tableau
Proficient in Google Analytics and / or Adobe Analytics.
Proficient with segmentation, reporting, and how to use data to drive business decisions
Ability to work in a high-paced environment while maintaining attention to details
