The Opportunity

We are looking for a Supply Chain Planning Manager for our London location. The Supply Chain Planning Manager is responsible for the establishment, maintenance and operation of many of the companies supply chain planning processes.

This role is instrumental in ensuring the integration of demand and supply at The Original Cakerie. In addition, this position will support the creation of a demand plan and is responsible for planning inventory to meet sales forecasted demand and customer fill rate of 98.

5%. The successful candidate will interact with distribution, manufacturing, sales, marketing, forecasting and new product development teams to clearly understand the demand requirements as part of the S&OP process.

ERP modules including DRP, MRP, and MPS processes will be utilized to establish materials and production plans to meet demand within inventory, cost, service level requirements and constraints.

What You’ll Do :

  • Develop and improve supply chain planning processes, tools and capabilities as a key S&OP team member
  • Execution of the Demand Planning process monthly as input to production schedule and materials requirements
  • Manage demand processes, meeting with NPD, sales forecasting, customer service and supply chain to optimize
  • Determine non produced product requirements and issue purchase orders to Lawlers, ACC or other Co-packer or FG product vendor
  • Identify and mitigate potential service level failures through inventory management, production adjustment, demand management and administration of potential shortages process.
  • Provide vendor managed inventory type services to M & M to enable effective "make to order" (MTO) replenishment.
  • Coach and manager a team of up to 2 with responsibilities for forward inventory deployment planning and demand plan generation
  • Establish and maintain appropriate and accurate inventory levels
  • Analyze fluctuations in demand and capacity, and communicate updates to suppliers through the supply management process
  • Ensure compliance with policies, standards and procedures governing the procurement and delivery of products and services for assigned product categories
  • Develop reports and procedures to achieve key internal operating targets
  • What You Bring :

  • Post-secondary education bachelor or masters or specific materials management supply chain advanced diploma (specialized).(Must)
  • Association memberships such as APICS, ISM, SCC, CSCMP,
  • Effective communicator with excellent organizational, reading and writing for comprehension skills(Must)
  • Strong math, statistics and analytical thinking(Must)
  • Knowledge of tools, methods, technology, supply chain fundamentals, constraints management(Must)
  • 5 years planner or purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment(Must)
  • Demand planning, materials management, production planning experience in food or consumer products environment (Nice)
  • Enterprise level understanding of value chain, costs, break even, best operating levels, cost, revenue(Must)
  • Experienced using MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook and BI data base tools(Must)
  • Working knowledge of ERP environment (MPS, DP, MRP, DRP etc.) (Must)
  • Navision experience a plus (Nice)
  • Able to managing competing objectives and conflict to achieve optimized results(must)
  • Working knowledge of six sigma, lean, CI,(nice)
