In this role, you will play an integral function in identifying, driving and coordinating organization wide recruitment efforts at key schools in North America.
The is primarily responsible for developing relationships with campus personnel and internal Stantec stakeholders and talent acquisition team members to ensure consistency of delivering Stantec’s program opportunities in our recruitment efforts.
Your Key Responsibilities :
Reporting to the Talent Brand Manager, the Manager, Campus Programs will establish, build and grow campus relations efforts within our Business / Practice Leaders, HR Business Partners, and other key stakeholders, while serving as a direct link into our recruiting team
In charge of building and implementing programs designed to help Stantec attract students
Lead, develop and implement Campus Strategies, Post Implementation Reviews for all business operating units in North America
Work with the Talent Acquisition Consultant Future Talent (TACFT) team and internal teams to oversee the strategy and direction of campus events (career fairs, interview days, student association network events, etc.
ensuring teams are provided with associated logistics, branded materials, templates, presentations, etc.
Coordinate general marketing efforts on campuses between talent acquisition, and internal stakeholders regarding information sessions, student organization presentations, career fairs, and communication of talent brand messaging that reflects our organization as a great place to work (including but not limited to social media, website, etc.)
Create Stantec target school lists based on strategy established with key stakeholders. Identify school investments, key relationships, supporting bursaries and scholarships
Interim leadership of Talent Acquisition Consultants Future Talent, providing support, guidance and direction
Responsible for taking on full lifecycle recruiting for select campus roles
Introduce regional relevant campus diversity initiatives for each respective Business Line
Educate and engage Stantec school ambassadors : developing framework, keep track of relationships, preparing and reviewing logistics for relevant on-
campus events, interviews, and other campus events
Understanding business needs through working with talent acquisition and client services, relative to strategic workforce planning data
Works with school ambassadors, TACFT and managers to capture ROI from campus recruiting efforts, ROI from investment in bursaries and scholarships
Prepare and maintain related reports, budgets, and metrics that tells the story and value-add of campus efforts to appropriate stakeholders
Create analytics dashboard to analyze internships, promotions, new hires and alumni and diversity activities.
Oversee all resource commitments to attend events, and budget to do so
Candidate profile development , campus strategy and schedule and post implementation reviews
Conceptualize and create marketing for graduate and internship programs
Capturing data from TACFT and generating recruitment reports and records, updates and analyzes all recruiting data for schools and local office initiatives
Optimizing TalentHub (ATS) to manage the entire campus campaign strategy and events to ensure mostfavorable employment practices and compliance with government regulations
Your Capabilities and Credentials :
Previous program management experience
Ability to think and act from a micro and macro standpoint
Ability to make tough decisions regarding the direction of campus programs using political savviness and with confidence
Demonstrated experience in : building relationships, data analytics and audits, market intelligence and event planning
An understanding of campus processes and familiarity with campus administration, schedules and constraints
Be an ambassador for our Stantec brand
Strong planning and organizational skills, this position will need to demonstrate the ability to communicate with multiple stakeholders, identifying key messages and deliverables against agreed upon partnerships
Ability to create action plans, prioritize time and resources effectively
Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
Willingness to travel as required
Leadership experience preferred
Bilingual candidates considered an asset
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
7 or more years of experience in recruiting, marketing, event planning or a related field
5 years or more of direct campus recruiting experience (technical intern recruiting experience a plus)
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Travel may be required.
