Your responsibilities

Dodge’s Internal Sales Representatives are responsible for processing all incoming communications (phone, fax, email, Web) for mechanical power transmission products.

  • The activities include the following, but are not limited to : (a) evaluate customer accounts for process improvement opportunities;
  • b) capture, maintain and manage orders, quotes and returns; (c) expedite product and shipments; answer technical questions;
  • d) exchange competitive products; (e) provide information on prices and availability; (f) manage warranty returns and problems;
  • g) handle debits and issue credits; (h) work with customers, sales team and credit service group to ensure timely resolution of issues;
  • documentation and ordering of spare boxes; (i) interact on a regular basis with the logistics team and carriers to track customer shipments.

    Conduct regular researches and dialogue with customers, supervisors, marketing team, sales force and engineering staff to explore possible improvements in order to develop the customer experience through streamlining, optimization, savings, etc.

    They are responsible for providing service excellence to Dodge distributors, direct OEMs, end users, Dodge Field Sales engineers and other internal customers.

    The Inside Sales Representatives liaises with Dodge Manufacturing, Engineers and CoLinx Distribution Services. The Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for answering technical questions and drawings and for contacting the engineering group when unable to solve problems.

    Problem-solving is a major component of the professional responsibilities, as well as proactive sales, customer attraction and retention, relationship development and root cause analysis.

  • Manage customer accounts, including orders, specifications and shipments from order taking to delivery
  • Solve customer problems and answers technical questions.
  • Explore process improvements that will have a positive impact on the customers.
  • Handle debits, issue credits and process and track returns and warranty claims.
  • Your background

  • High School Diploma / College Diploma preferred
  • Three-year experience in a position requiring customer service skills such as good communication and organizational abilities and attention to detail.
