The Gynecologic Oncologists work closely with a collegial multi-disciplinary team as well as radiation and medical oncology, surgery, pathology, diagnostic imaging.
Clinical service includes new patient visits / consults, medical / surgical care, and follow-up visits / ongoing monitoring.
We are moving to a model of care where Physician Extenders provide in-patient day-time ward coverage and take first-call 7 days per week.
The Gynecologic Oncologists participate in undergraduate and post-graduate medical education and have appointments with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, Cancer Agency and the University of Saskatchewan.
Successful candidates are eligible to apply for the Saskatchewan Medical Association $30,000 Specialist Recruitment Incentive Grant.
The Gynecologic Oncologists are remunerated on a contractual basis - $467,000 - $587,000 annually
Positions are available in Saskatoon and Regina.
Applicants must hold an MD, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada specialty training in Obstetrics & Gynecology, subspecialty fellowship training in Gynecologic Oncology, and be eligible for licensure with the .
