    What this challenge is about

    The Operational Performance team at Ivanhoé Cambridge provides a wide range of services on a national scale for shopping centres.

    The key functional areas include operational reporting (sales, occupancy, leasing, footfall statistics) and management of joint venture relations for managed properties in Canada.

    The intern will provide general support for ongoing activities as well as assist with special projects.

    Main duties will include :

  • Participate in forecast and budget analysis with respect to leasing activity, occupancy, sales, and leasing costs; explain variances
  • Identify data anomalies in forecasts, actuals and budgets, and collaborate on resolutions;
  • Update various Excel and PowerPoint presentations to support the budget approvals;
  • Cross check / validate reports to ensure accuracy and consistency between various reports;
  • Participate in ongoing software replacement projects through quality assurance testing of various reports and dashboards.
  • Cross check existing reports and complete calculations to confirm new reports are aggregating correctly;
  • Work with system owner or IT to resolve issues found during testing;
  • Assist the Operational Performance team with projects and administrative tasks as needed.
  • What we’re looking for

  • Enrolled in the third or fourth year of a bachelor degree in Administration, business or other related fields;
  • Knowledge of data analysis is required;
  • Experience with pivot tables and Excel formulas is required;
  • Proficiency with : Microsoft Power BI

  • Must be highly motivated, a team player who can actively contribute to the department’s objectives;
  • Work accurately, independently, diligently;
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
