The Client Integrations Manager helps lead the development of Point of Sale (POS) Product and Service development, primarily for Enterprise and Medium size merchants.
The incumbent requires the capabilities both to work with internal stakeholders and external partners to establish and maintain a product development vision consistent with Global Payments overall strategies and initiatives as well as the technical knowledge to proactively perform the technical work required to implement.
Main Responsibilities :
Proactively working the day to day execution of multiple technical product initiatives while overseeing management of others.
Leveraging relationships with internal and external suppliers to meet quality, service and expense objectives and ensure that goals are achieved in a manner that provides a positive sales experience for merchants, VAR’s and other stakeholders.
In consultation with Management, help develop and maintain annual Integrated device product plan, long term product roadmap and oversee execution.
Direct and execute the Integrated Product Development and Management component of the annual strategic plan for the achievement of revenue, efficiency, volume, infrastructure or POS specific compliance objectives.
Develop overall business objectives and executive recommendations for action based on current and long term acquiring strategies.
Review and assess competitive intelligence, customer segmentation, pricing strategy, and product mix assessment on a regular basis.
Build strong relationships with terminal vendors or solution providers to streamline processes, shorten lead times, improve QA, secure preferential pricing or beneficial business arrangements
Effectively manage Point of Sale Vendor relationships.
Foster and maximize third party relationships to generate new revenue opportunities, deliver expense containment or deliver additional functionality on a preferential basis
Lead merchant RFP product / solution responses on behalf of the Client Integrations team. Ability to write detailed responses to specific business, technical and product related questions.
Monitor market environments (consumer, technology, competition, regulatory) to understand and address the impacts of trends on product and service delivery.
Develop the comprehensive product plan, business and functional requirements, specification development and vendor selection and management
Champion and lead, as appropriate, certification, operational rollout and post launch analysis and support
Oversee the product launch process
Work with strategic partners on the development of new payment applications or enhancement of existing products.
Required Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years proven experience in technical product development and integration with specific expertise gained within the merchant point of sale industry.
Bilingual- Verbal and Written (English and French).
Demonstrated experience in technical POS development and systems certification should be coupled with strong capabilities in strategic thinking.
Experience in business analysis and planning, product launch experience, business case development and project management.
Experience in developing and executing product specific plans to ensure that revenue, profitability and timing objectives are achieved.
Formidable capabilities in project management, business analysis, segmentation and business case development.
Well developed presentation skills in conveying factual, technical and conceptual information.
Organizing and project managing multiple complex initiatives to deliver required solutions within set targets, including revenue, time and expense budgets.
Analytical ability to maintain focus and judgement on delivering customer needs while executing cost efficient projects.
Interpersonal and influential skills to convince internal and external stakeholders of the value of a recommended course of action and to resolve complex or competing interests.
