As a Team Leader in Landscape Services, you will :

Makes seasonal work plan and ensures compliance

Sets priorities and implements work plan in alignment with standard operating procedures

Ensures budget compliance

Conducts seasonal staff evaluations

Conducts safety training and toolbox talks

Assists in new employee orientation

OH&S compliance and adherence monitoring

Provides updates to supervisor and upper management for safety concerns

Completion and inspection of internal and external paperwork

Correctly tracks inventory and updates enviso spreadsheets

Ongoing communication with clients

Seasonal meetings to ensure service levels

Qualifications

4 year Degree in Sciences or a related field

Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's licence (or provincial equivalent)

Standard First-Aid training

3 years progressively responsible experience in parks construction or maintenance; building, parks, recreational, zoological, arboricultural or horticultural operations

Possession of excellent communication skills (written and verbal), as well as analytical and problem solving skills

Exemplary customer service skills

Must be physically capable of performing the duties assigned to the class and be able to work in all weather conditions

Demonstrated supervisory skills and ability

Must be capable and willing to wear a respirator, clean shave is required

Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE)

Knowledge of safety precautions

Salary : $36.631 - 42.287 (hourly)
