We are looking for a very organized and detail-oriented individual to join our quality team as Compliance Lead. This individual will be reporting directly to the Site Quality Director and lead the Compliance department and direct the maintenance / production of reports, author procedures, and work in collaboration with different departments to promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Lead Compliance Officers in assigned tasks and ensure compliance objectives are being met
Represent Compliance department during regulatory audits
Develop and implement training strategies for standard operating procedures
Perform Quality Management System compliance audits and determine system improvements.
Writing and updating standard operating procedures as necessary.
Ensure corrective and preventative actions are implemented appropriately.
Audit cannabis plants, dried cannabis and waste inventory.
Lead loss and theft investigations.
Produce yearly, quarterly, monthly and other inventory control related reports as required by the Cannabis Regulations (SOR / 2018-144)
Manage contract and quality agreements between Tweed and production related contract services.
Contribute to the continual improvement of Tweeds Quality Management System.
Management of security access and video footage review
Other duties as assigned
Experience in a supervisory / manager role that will mentor and develop the compliance team and promote a team environment
Experience with document management
Experience with GMP or other regulated environment including participation in audits and response to any audit findings
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong planning and organizational skills
Fast learner who has experience working in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Ability to prioritize and balance a variety of projects simultaneously
