What is the opportunity?
As the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition, you will play a critical role in helping to shape RBC's Technology & Operations talent goals as both a Subject Matter Expert of the Tech talent market as well as a primary relationship manager for all tech talent acquisition activity globally.
You will liaise with Human Resource Business Partners and business leaders to ensure best in class talent acquisition strategies are in place for each business line.
You will also be accountable for the effectiveness and efficiency of the talent acquisition team by building their capability, and supporting and implementing new tools, programs and processes to ensure RBC continues to win in the tech talent market.
What will you do?
Lead a talent acquisition team in an environment that requires innovation, imagination, quick thinking, aggressive sourcing skills and proactivity.
Partner with business leaders to identify talent needs and create targeted and proactive recruitment strategies including segmented approaches where appropriate.
Develop and implement customized and innovative strategies for all areas of the talent acquisition lifecycle.
Develop metrics that align with organizational objectives and managing performance against them.
Partner with HR to help shape broader talent goals for Technology and Operations, leveraging your expertise in the tech talent market to inform direction.
Coach and counsel your team on sourcing techniques including complex search techniques, recruitment strategies, and consulting capability.
Demonstrate knowledge of current best practices in talent acquisition including leveraging technology, social media, and industry networks.
What do you need to succeed?
Deep knowledge of technology skills and trends in the market
Proven experience in tech talent acquisition within a people leadership role.
3 + years of people management experience, preferably in a dynamic and diverse team.
Strong prioritization skills and ability to manage conflicting demands from all areas of the business while ensuring recruitment process is kept in motion with a focus on providing positive candidate and hiring manager experiences.
Ability to develop and nurture productive business relationships, and influence and educate managers, executives and all relevant stakeholders.
Strong writing skills and the ability to pull together compelling factual story lines in power point presentations.
Expertise in talent acquisition data, trends, market intelligence and social media engagement techniques.
Experience working in the financial services sector
