Sleep & Respiratory Care, Sales & Market Leader (Canada)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

Lead the Sleep & Respiratory Care business for Philips Canada. You will support a national team of Clinical Specialists and Respiratory Sales Specialists across Canada.

You are responsible for (but not limited to) :

People Management

  • Ensure that right organization is in place to deliver on the sales objectives
  • Leads, coaches, directs and motivates the team, encourage diversity
  • Manages pipeline of talents for the organization, and build capabilities in the organization Optimizes organization for speed & costs Builds capabilities
  • Sales and Operations

  • Develop clear and achievable strategies, objectives and tactical plans for the district based on customer centricity, segmentation, customer needs and market conditions synchronized with objectives
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including solutions in collaboration with Solutions team in the Market
  • Execution and management of the yearly business plan of the Canada region
  • Responsible for the monthly district business review meetings : sales, volumes, order intake, sales, forecast, price realization, Cost of Organization, customer complaints, escalations and supply chain
  • Work closely with account managers, operations, marketing, and services in the market, as well as other functions such as;
  • Finance, Business Transformation and Quality & Regulatory

  • Responsible for creation and implementation of the sales strategy and the Sales Plan, including sales forecasts, and AOP
  • Develop clear and achievable strategies, objectives and tactical plans based customer needs, customer centricity and market conditions
  • Ensure sales efforts align with and support organizational strategy, (both long and short-term)
  • Establishes key sales commercial and operations plans including processes and strategies for : distribution, contracting, business planning, sales comp.
  • forecasting, budgeting, and KPI selection

  • Develop and drive credibility and long-term relationship with the customers in the assigned area, to fulfill long-term sales objectives
  • Maintain excellent communication links and relationship with top customers and the key decision makers in the region
  • To succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and experience :

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Preferred
  • 10+ years of industry experience, clear understanding of the Home Healthcare
  • 8+ years in a people management position
  • Healthcare or medical products or solutions experience is required
  • Hands on knowledge working in a highly dynamic market and / or matrix driven organization
  • Self-starter, adaptable, resourceful, and always willing to take on new projects
