What will your typical day look like ?

As a Senior Consultant, Conduct & Culture you will join a diverse team of talented consultants to deliver conduct and culture projects including diagnostic assessments, regulatory change management, interpretation of consumer protection regulations, facilitation of client workshops and other conduct & culture guidance and requirements while ensuring required levels of excellence of Deloitte’s methodologies.

This role will involve both autonomy and close work with Senior Managers, Directors and Partners to perform diagnostic assessments, design conduct and compliance frameworks, manage remediation activities, and respond to the requirements of key regulatory bodies.

Your demonstrated experience will be useful in defining and implementing conduct-related change programs at large, complex organizations.

About the team

Our Risk Advisory team assists organizations address changing regulatory requirements and the increased focus on conduct risk management.

Regulated firms should be able to demonstrate the link between business strategies, behaviors, and outcomes, and understand the risks that a given strategy might present, what wrong behaviors might lead to misconduct, and how the firm’s ecosystem of broader controls is currently helping to deter misconduct.

From major risk transformations through to enabling effective risk intelligent cultures, we are focused on the impacts that matter.

We draw on regulatory compliance, risk management and organizational psychology to draw out mindsets and behaviours to bring risk frameworks to life in day to day business.

Your role will be to ensure our strategic vision for change can come to life.

Enough about us, let’s talk about you

You are someone who has :

  • A minimum of 3 years of client project implementation or delivery experience in a conduct and culture domain
  • An Undergraduate degree in organizational psychology or other relevant behaviour science field
  • Strong communication, report writing, challenge, investigation, influence, and presentation skills with senior management and in formal settings
  • Industry, risk & compliance, legal, audit, behavioural science or previous international consulting experience related to banking and insurance will be highly regarded
  • Working knowledge and expertise of emerging conduct rules and regulations in financial services (banking, capital markets, asset management and insurance), knowledge and understanding of current Financial Consumer Protection Framework and the Client-focused Reforms issued by the Canadian Securities Administrators
  • Experience coaching and guiding team members, strong problem solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to make decisions and prioritize
