Role : Account Manager, Enterprise Partnerships

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing key partnerships for RBC to develop mutually beneficial value to our collective clients and customers.
This is a highly collaborative role working across LOBs including RBC Ventures (i.e. Ampli, MoveSnap, Smart Reno) and RBC (i.
e. Cards, Payments and Banking and Rewards, Personal and Commercial business lines). You will be responsible for actively communicating and engaging key internal and external stakeholders and executives to ensure alignment, engagement, and awareness of opportunities for partnership integration and growth.
You will also establish and implement a best in class partner experience and solidify the Team and RBC’s reputations as a leader in the partnership space.
What will you do?
Accountable for ongoing and day to day partner service of 15 20 merchant / retail partners
Regular interaction with key executives across the organization (Chief Strategy Officer, LOB VPs)
Establish strong relationships and cadences with key partner contacts and internal product leads in LOB’s to proactively identify new opportunities to deepen and extend partnership across LOB and broader enterprise
Lead quarterly business reviews with key partners to drive engagement, identify new opportunities for integration and foster best in class partnership
Lead and design relevant and insightful partner materials including monthly reports, post campaign analysis and strategic roadmaps
Proactively identify and assess opportunities to integrate partner value, products and assets into key strategic initiatives by leveraging data, insights, market research and emerging trends
Build strong and relevant partner journeys and execution plans to help achieve both partner objectives and broader LOB and Banking vision and KPIs
Lead development and implementation of Partner Services practice management framework, including industry best practices and standards, guides, activities, and behaviors to ensure RBC is seen as the best in class organization to partner and work with, internally and externally
Establish ongoing touchpoints with key stakeholders and functional partners to ensure continuing alignment of partnership activities and key business strategies
What do you need to succeed?
5+ years of experience in partnership, client service and relationship management and growth
5+ years of experience in growing and building partnerships and achieving mutually beneficial objectives and goals
Experience as a client services leader as part of a high performing team
Experience leading partner conversations and building relationships with key day to day contacts
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities & meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork & cooperation building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, adaptability, relationship building
A sense of pride in maintaining consistent high levels of performance and attention to detail
Self-starter approach with a strong bias for action, sense of curiosity and ability to build trust and alignment
