The Bruce Power Lead is a client dedicated role in charge of fostering and executing Hatch’s Nuclear Business Plan. The role requires direct and consistent presence at the client’s site in Port Elgin with a focus on client engagement.

The lead manages Hatch’s local resources and ensures visibility by promoting Hatch’s values and offerings at the front line.

Lastly, the lead works collaboratively within the business unit and wider company to promote financial growth.

The main purpose of the Bruce Power Lead is to develop meaningful relationships with the client, obtain key insight into their business needs and position Hatch to provide the required services within the scope of Hatch’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Develops, tracks and capitalizes on business opportunities
  • Increases Hatch visibility / footprint at client site
  • Maximizes use of staff resources
  • Leads proposals and is accountable for key decisions
  • Manages local office operations
  • Resolves client issues in an effective and timely manner
  • Reports regularly to Power and Nuclear business unit Senior Management on current and future work portfolio
  • Promotes staff and company growth
  • Role Requirements

  • Be local must be able to be on site at minimum 3-4 days per week
  • Be relationship focused
  • Must have experience working in the clients’ systems and procedures (domain knowledge)
  • Must be able to represent Hatch’s capabilities (depth and breadth of company) and promote and protect Hatch brand and values.
  • Must have relevant technical expertise / background / qualifications (P.Eng. preferred)
  • Must have the ability to identify and bring in work (be a closer) Mentoring staff to ensure business continuity
  • Ability to delegate tasks and duties while maintaining accountability
